E-commerce

To sell online you need four things:

1. A good product
2. A good price
3. A good website
4. A good number of visitors.

If you have a good product, and a good price, we can build a good website, and make sure that many people find it.

We have seven years experience at creating and maintaining E-commerce websites.  The vast majority of the sites we have produced are selling well. 

E-commerce packages

We currently offer three E-commerce packages.  The basic package contains all the basic elements you need to sell online, and it is available for less than £1,000.  The standard E-commerce package contains more features, and is a better choice for the serious retailer.  The Full Shop contains user account facilities, which are useful for retailers who are relying on repeat business. 

1. Budget Shop £900

The budget shop is good value for money.  It has all the features you need - plus a few more.  Using a secure, password protected, admin panel, the owner(s) of the shop can add and edit an unlimited number of product categories, product, and product options.  Images can be added - one per product.  The package comes with excellent search facilities, and Search Engine Optimisation as standard.  Author and/or manufacturers can be added if required. 

The package has the following payment options as standard.  More than one can be used at the same, to give the users a choice of payment by 

• cheque
• credit / debit card (requires an SSL certificate, which is not included)
• Paypal
• Sagepay
• Worldpay

Order notification is by Email only. 
The layout for the budget shop is basic but professional.

2. Standard Shop £1,500

The standard shop has all the features of the budget shop, plus a few more (which can be used or ignored):

• Currencies:
  The standard package can handle multiple currencies.  The orders are treated in GBP, but other currencies can be shown alongside it, as price comparison. Foreign buyers will appreciate this facility.
• Orders:
  The orders module is a fantastic communication tool.  It will make tracking your orders much easier.  Here are a few of the superb features:
  The module will allow you to print a sales receipt with one click of the mouse.
  You can file all orders in categories
  (order received, payment received, goods shipped, etc.)
  You can notify clients that goods have been shipped with one or two clicks of the mouse.
• Reports
  The reports modules keeps track of how many times products have been sold and viewed, and it also counts up all the sales.
• Tell a friend
  This module is useful to have.  Recommendations count for a lot.
• Special offers
  You can select a product, type a lower price, and that product will be shown at the cheaper rate for the duration of the time period you specify.
• Extra images
  This module will allow you to quickly add more images per product.
• Catalogue
  Users can request a catalogue - if you have one - to send by post.

This package is the most popular - and we will assist where we can in marketing the site.

3. The Full Shop £2,000

The complete shopping package comes with all the features mentioned above, plus the following modules:

• User Accounts
  Users can create an optional account and log in on their return visit. This will encourage repeat business in most cases.  The user accounts are optional.  People can buy products without creating an account.  People who do use the facility will be able to see their past orders, add products to their wish list and change their details.
• Product Downloads
  Products can be sold as downloads, but some restrictions may apply.
  Please ask for details.
• Newsletter / Email Facility
  This module allows the website owners to create Email groups, and add contacts to those groups.  It also allows messages to be entered, and these messages can be sent to all the contacts in the selected group.  Please note that this facility should not be used to send Spam.  The facility works well with the updates module shown below.
• Updates
  When this feature is installed buyers can select to be notified when new products become available.  The shop owner can notify all those who ticked the box with one click of the mouse.
