First impressions last.

In 2017, we are at a point now where first impressions are not necessarily always face to face. Take Facebook for example; employers may check out a potential employee before hiring them, or your date may have a snoop through your photos before meeting you in person.

How many times have you Googled a restaurant to read the reviews before going there to eat or, rather than facing the elements and bustling crowds, you opt for putting the kettle on and instead, make your purchases online from the comfort of your sofa?

The internet is like an online catalogue where first impressions are made. Yet there are many businesses out there that don’t maintain or even have a website to showcase their company.

If you are a business, it is vital that you make the right impression. Consumers make a quick judgement and a decision based on the website in front of them, about whether or not they will even visit your office, shop or restaurant. You can expect the likelihood of someone dismissing your services completely if they do not believe your website reflects the business’ credibility.

You want to encourage and ensure potential clients that your business and the services you offer are what they are looking for. By having an easy-to-navigate, fresh and up to date website, it is not only engaging and visually pleasing but it shows that you are active online and therefore, reachable.

By not having a website, you are missing out on business opportunities but having a bad website, makes your company look bad (and we don’t mean in the Michael Jackson sense.)

Give your business a fighting chance and represent yourselves in the best possible light, with a professional website which speaks for itself.

Having no website is bad for business but a badly made site is detrimental.
