Could Your Business Benefit From a Better Internet Presence?

The Power of The Website

Websites have come a long way in a short time, and nothing reflects how your business is embracing the future more than your website - your shop window on the world!  Websites play a crucial role in boosting business sales by providing a 24/7 online presence that attracts and engages with potential customers, both local and worldwide.  In terms of getting your name, and brand, well known in your field, a well produced website with great images, expertly crafted content and SEO (search engine optimisation) will bring increased numbers of visitors, slowly but surely, to your virtual door.  Your website is the first place your future customers will see your potential - so it pays to make that impression a good one!

The following two examples of web design case studies are based on clients of ours, who saw the potential of web design to further their businesses and came to us for help:-

Web Design Case Studies: #1

We had a case of two brothers, who in the 90s were selling their products well through catalogues, with a mailing list of several thousand people. They would create and send yearly catalogues out through the post, and following the mailout they would get hundreds of orders. With the rise of the internet, one of the brothers felt that the way forward clearly was the internet, but the other decided that they should continue with the catalogues and keep their high street presence. Over 10 years, both businesses did well, but after that the picture changed; around 2010 the sales of the catalogue dropped continuously and also the footfall in the shop decreased, whereas the internet sales took off! The brother owning the shop based business then went bankrupt, while the other brother is still doing well - without the responsibility of shop overheads, but with an online, automated presence, and he now leads a stress free life.  A case of - as we call it - working smarter, not harder!

Our second example features a local metalwork company specialising in the production of bespoke metal frameworks for buildings, with a particular focus on manufacturing metal beams. When they approached us, they had no online presence and sought guidance on how to establish one.  In response, we developed a high-quality website that effectively showcases their expertise and services. Additionally, we implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy, which has achieved outstanding results - their key search terms now rank on Page One of Google, attracting inquiries from potential clients who, despite being nearby, were previously unaware that their business was operating locally.

How Web Design Makes You Look Good

A well-designed website enhances brand credibility, making a company appear more professional and trustworthy. A business might just be getting off the ground, but web design case studies such as those above prove that features like e-commerce functionality, booking systems, and SEO optimisation help businesses reach a larger audience from the start and drive conversions, from visitors, to sales. Additionally, an optimised website makes it easier for customers to find products or services, compare options, and make purchases conveniently. By integrating tools like business software and video content, businesses can improve customer interaction, streamline processes, and ultimately increase revenue.

Hard Working Websites

Its a fast paced and digital world these days.  Is your website actually working as hard as it can for your business?  A professional website will use the transformative power of technology to drive business forward. A modern website is more than just an online presence—it’s a gateway to innovation, connecting businesses with their audience in dynamic and personalised ways.
